Why set your design down on paper ?

The production of a quality design on paper allows you to see both your old and new gardens,  to scale and in the correct context, with the added bonus of being able to change your mind, before having any construction work carried out.

You can, therefore, feel  reassured that you have explored all the avenues and possibilities of shape, style and materials.

Carefully drawn plans mean precise quantity surveying, which leads to accurate construction on the ground and value for money to you, the Client, with considerably less wastage and no unexpected bills for extra materials!

The same process is followed, be it for a town courtyard or a 10 acre country garden

SMALL COURTYARD GARDENS

Small courtyards don't always need grass.  Keep the area simple with some well laid natural stone paving or good quality timber decking- dress it with some large stylish pots and add an obelisk or a piece of decorative wall trellis as a focal point and bubble fountain with boulders and cobbles. Planting could be a tropical Jurassic Park with a Jungle style planting theme or of a Japanese style with Bamboos, glossy evergreen shrubs  and dramatic Japanese Maples. In a sunny area, Terracotta tiles with gravel or chippings and spikey planting or box hedging make for a Mediterranean feel - you could add a hot tub, surrounded by timber decking in soft wood or hardwood and a small summerhouse or gazebo - the summer retreat.

CHILD FRIENDLY PLAY ZONES

If you have a family sized garden, Envisage could design a separate children's play area with new lawn, climbing frames and swings. For tiny tots you may want a paddling pool or clean sand pit and for the older yard commandoes  how about a wire slide or secret den amidst lush jungle style planting and if planning permits the tree house you always dreamed off as a child!

And with young children in mind, you may also need a child friendly water feature rather than a pond in the entertaining area.
