Yes. We have our own in-house team of landscapers. However, we will outsource to a handful of trusted specialists should the need arise e.g. a topographical surveyor, a structural engineer, electrician or gas engineer.

The cost of a landscape design varies depending on the scope and complexity of the project. At Envisage Gardens, we offer personalized design consultations to determine the needs and desires of our clients. From there, we provide a custom quote based on the size of the property, level of detail requested, and intensity of landscaping required. Our goal is to provide transparent pricing and work within our clients' budgets to create beautiful outdoor spaces that exceed expectations. To give you some rough costings to work with, we have recently priced contracts in the region of: £4000 for a flat garden with low-intensity design approximately 500sqm in size. £8000 for a severely sloping garden just over 1000sqm in size. £16000 for a mostly flat estate some 1.5 acres in size with some complex elements much as a water rill, large pond and outdoor kitchen. Industry standards are for the fees to return at between 9% to 15% of the total construction budget depending on the scale and complexity of the project. For example, a £100,000 build budget might command fees in the region of £10,000, but a £200,000 budget might return fees in the region of £18,000. Our fees do not include external specialists such as a topographical surveyor or structural engineer, or the production of construction drawings for an external contractor, but we can advise on these costs before you become committed to a design. As a rough guide, we usually say a completely cleared, constructed and planted garden returns at between £150 to £400 per square meter depending on scale and complexity of the project - this is in line with industry standards. Gardens do not have to be constructed all in one go, although it is usually the most cost-effective option.
